The Fort’s Love

Our story began in the fall of 1977during homecoming weekend, when we had a chance encounter outside the student center. Winter quarter of 1978 our paths crossed again during registration and  our encounters became more frequent. In 1979 our encounters evolved into a serious mutual admiration for and attraction to each other. We survived, Greek pledge periods and Devine 9 life as students; and after graduation, separation and distance due to pursuit of our careers. We were married December 22, 1984 and our union has produced 2 children, successful careers and comfortable retirement. Our union started 46 years ago in 1979 and we have been married 40 years as of December 22, 2024. Relationships built in the Valley can endure the test of time. Wildcat LOVE conquers all!
