Strategic Plan 2025-2027
PRESIDENT’S LETTER
Greetings Fellow Wildcats!
I pen this letter with immense pride and honor. Serving our beloved Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association, Inc. as your 28th National President is an absolute pleasure. This is not something I take lightly, and I certainly hope my labor will not be in vain.
Before my nomination packet was submitted, I began working to ensure that if I were elected to this position, things would be in order and ready to move forward on the first day of my term. One should ask themselves, “How can one lead if they do not plan?” Strategic plans are beneficial to any organization, ensuring that achievable goals are not only established but met. Complementing our Constitution, Bylaws, and Standing Operating Procedures that will be implemented in the new biennium, this Strategic Plan will guide us in building a stronger future together.
I want to thank the diligent Strategic Plan Steering Committee members in advance for their hard work in overseeing the success of this plan and all of you, members of the FVSUNAA family, for helping us see it through. I sincerely hope and expect that we will use this strategic plan as a roadmap to a bright future, sustaining a legacy for generations of Wildcats to come, not only in the Alumni Association but also at Fort Valley State University as a whole.

Strategic Plan Pathways are fundamental to the success of this strategic plan and the more significant advancement of the Fort Valley State University National Alumni Association, Inc. By adhering to each pathway, we aim not only to fulfill the tenets outlined in the platform but also to propel the association forward by addressing critical issues that have hindered growth in recent years. Each pathway will be overseen by designated Strategic Plan Task Force members, who will provide regular updates to the Committee Chair, followed by the Executive Committee, and finally, the association's general body. This ensures transparency, accountability, and collective progress toward our shared goals.
